We went to Dianaโs Baths as a family and since we love nature and being outdoors, this place was so much fun for us. We saw people of all different ages and skill levels hiking the 0.6 mile hike to get to the falls. The hike was pretty easy with tree roots here and there. There was also a nice bridge to cross and the view once you got to the falls was worth it! There were various levels of rocks and water pooled in places creating fun splash areas and wading spots for the kids. In other areas, you could see flowing and cascading water. Although there were people all around us, it was quite spacious and Iโm equating this to the limited parking for this location. Iโm sure that significantly reduces the number of people at the falls. That would be the only downside of coming here. The parking was kind of a pain. We knew this heading here so we were certain to visit in low traffic times. With that being said, the heat of the day had worn off by the time we made it here and the water was pretty chilly. We did still have to wait about 10 minutes before we were able to park but thatโs small potatoes for what we gained by visiting this beautiful location. My son didnโt want to leave. He kept climbing the rocks to explore more and more up to the top of the falls. Once we did make it to where the fall originated, we saw so many man-made cairns ( rock tower stacks ). I know these are frowned upon by so many because โmanโ is making its presence known and leaving their marks behind, but I must say it was really quite beautiful to see to many. (sorry to admit)

The Skinny:
- Weather : Dianaโs Baths is an outdoor location so I recommend a good dry day preferably warm, as the water is cold! (We visited it a super warm summer in August so I can only imagine the rest of the year)
- Parking and Admissions : We spent $5 to park which is a self-pay station that you record your information on an envelope and drop the envelope in a locked box. If you donโt pay and you park, you can get a ticket but $5 is super cheap to enjoy this area with a car-full of people
- Location : a short nature walk (0.6 miles) that leads to a beautiful area with natural flowing water falls and wading pools
- Hours : 6 AM-10 PM
- Duration : We spent 1 hour or so at Dianaโs Bath, it was dinner time and we were hungry. Also it wasnโt too hot out by the time we arrived and the water was cold. We werenโt comfortable staying any longer with the sun going down and the possibility of bugs coming for our skin!
- Tips and Recommendations : Water shoes, bug spray, caution with kids although we saw several with various ages from baby to teenager here. Leashed dogs are welcomed-we also saw several that were enjoying the water with their families ( so sweet)! Come on an off hour-not mid-day or you will wait forever to park. The lot is small and you can not park in the street. Either early or late arrival is best if you donโt want to wait forever. Waiting is not fun but waiting with kids is awful!
