The kids and I really enjoyed our time at Ryan Park. We had a perfect day so I’m sure that that helped. The scenery was just spectacular. There were happy birds, lily pads, and beautiful views. We all hoped we saw a frog but that didn’t happen but I’m sure there are plenty here due to the amount of lily pads. Our favorite part of this trail was the beautiful wooded curved bridge and the views we saw while on it. After passing the bridge and heading into the woods, I was excited to see the bike trails that intersected our trail. I’m sure its a great location for families to enjoy together. I hope we can return to ride bikes here once the kids get more confident as the bike path was made of dirt trails from what we saw.

The Skinny:
- Weather : A nice, dry day ideally because Ryan Park is completely outdoors.
- Parking and Admissions : Plenty of free parking.
- Location : Ball fields- 1 basket ball court and several baseball fields with bleachers, a playground that looks newer, and hiking by Belleville Pond 4.6 mile easy flat terrain loop with a bike path and jumps.
- Duration : We spent 3 hours here exploring. We could have stayed longer but the sun was setting though
- Tips and Recommendations : Wear walking shoes and comfy attire. The wind was blowing so take a light jacket as you would on a fall afternoon anyways. Dogs are welcomed here.
