This is a wonderful location for kids that want to swim outside! My daughter is a good swimmer but waves intimidate her especially if they are big. It can be a deterrent of her spending time in the water, which she loves to do. That’s why this location was so great. There were no waves and there were two life guards on this rather small beach.
Beyond the beach area, there were picnic tables, changing rooms and bath houses as well as port-o-potties. There was a beautiful wooden bridge to walk across and check out the wildlife. We saw a duck and her 3 ducklings splashing in the water, several fish, frogs, birds and beautiful dragonflies! My kids had so much fun finding all the animals and catching the frogs. Because we have been to many places that are serine and offer fishing ( like this one ) we may have to take it up!
Fishing nets would come in handy here. The kids caught some frogs but others certainly got away. The nets below have a telescopic neck that extends to better reach. Another cool feature is that it comes with a bait pouch!
Everybody has to sit! Check out these kids foldable chairs that they are sure to love.
All kids love walkie talkies so why not get them these so they can communicate with each other while out at Pulaski Park?

Location : Well-maintained fresh water pond with a beach that is roped off and a separate fishing / recreation area for picnics and relaxation. There is a nice long bridge that we all enjoyed walking on. There are trails for hiking. The website says skiing occurs in the winter so it is a year round functional park.
Duration : We got here at 2 and stayed until 6ish, I wanted to get home to cook dinner but the kids didn’t want to leave
Hours : 6 AM-6PM
