The kids and I could not get enough of Kimball Farm. Employees were caring for the grounds in the morning upon our arrival. They were meticulously watering and tending to the many flower pots and flower beds at Kimball Farm. The fully bloomed flowers were just marvelous and a joy for the eyes to see. Kimball Farm offers rides, batting cages, delicious foods, homemade ice cream, mini-golf, an arcade, an animal show, a country store, bumper cars and boats and much more.
We loved being outside on the gorgeous day we visited because the weather was just perfect. It was not too hot nor too cold, just comfortable so we couldn’t ask for a better day to visit. The bumper boats are nostalgic to my childhood being an 80’s baby. I have many childhood photos on them. The kids seem to enjoy them just as much as I did when I was little. The mini-golf course was fun although our crew of kids didn’t really know what to do. They would basically “practice” hitting the ball from the first spot of each hole the entire time. 😂 So, we obviously didn’t keep score. It’s all good though. 😊 We were certainly entertained and that’s all that matters!
The food lines were so long and took forever! The food was good but omg that wait was awful. I forgot that behind the batting cage and in the country store there are other places to grab some snacks. We should have taken advantage of them as the lines there were minimal to none. We just waited thinking the Grill and Seafood Shack was our only option and it WAS NOT. Silly mommy, 🤪 lesson learned! The ice cream line was not much better. It also took an hour to get to the front and was still going strong once we received our cones.

The Skinny:
- Weather : Try to visit on a day where being outside is enjoyable as many activities are outside. Activities can close due to weather so check ahead if rain is forecast.
- Parking : FREE, plentiful parking
- Admissions : There are different options depending how many activities you wish to participate in. $26.50 for 3 activities and $41.00 for 5 activities. You can choose amongst the following :
–Round of Mini Golf
-Bumper Boat ride
-(3) Tokens for the Batting Cages
-Soaring Eagle Zip line Ride
-Spin Zone Ride
-Round of 9-Hole Pitch & Putt
-Large Bucket at the Driving Range
-One Day Admission to Animal Adventures (when available, only on weekends)
-$10 Pre-Loaded Arcade Card
- Location : Beautifully manicured grounds where families can participate in numerous activities, enjoy meals, games and go on rides together.
- Hours : Most activities run 10 AM- 10 PM
- Duration : We visited for 6 hours or so. Because the wait was extremely long at the seafood shack and again afterwards at the ice cream stand on a holiday Monday in the summer, we stayed longer than expected.
- Tips and Recommendations : If you want to see the animals you need to visit on the weekends. You can not see them if you visit on a Monday holiday like we did. Be prepared to wait for food if you want items from the main dining area, The Grill and Seafood Shack, if you visit on a weekend or holiday, try the Outback Tap Shack or Country Store & Cafe if it’s too busy.
