Davis Farmland is spectacular! This location offers tons of outdoor activities and games for kids of all ages. Β The kids’ favorites include the enormous bounce mat, the play and splash areas and the farm animals.Β They really had so much fun and honestly, so did I!Β
What’s at Davis Farmland?
There are kids of all ages and their families everywhere at Davis Farmland.Β The main location consists mostly of animals for exploring, feeding and petting along with some playgrounds, an entertaining reptile show an enclosed bounce house, and another enormous open bounce mat. Β In summer months you will find a spectacularly popular splash park here with a foam machine. Β Pony rides and a short hay ride are offered for an additional cost.
In Fall, the space across the road, Davis Mega Corn Maze, is open which has more field games and actual activities including the giant corn maze, paint ball, cannon targets, obstacle courses, farm-style swings and slides along with limited animals to feed and pet. Β Β We ended up initially visiting during fall and enjoying both sides (there are two separate prices for each “side”). Β We can’t tell you which we liked best because they were both great! If your kids love animals and are younger then probably the main location with the majority of animal exhibits is the best choice for them. Β Either way you can’t go wrong.
Animal Encounters and…
As an adult I liked the Davis Mega Corn Maze area with outdoor games because I really enjoy being active and having good, healthy competitions with the kids. Davis Farmland Mega Maze reminds me of all the classic camp movies with various outdoor family competitions. Β Being here is kind of like a large outdoor fair without the carnival rides.Β We were still having fun even at closing time.Β That’s because there is just so much to do.
Sadly, during our visit, the zip line was not in service . Β Even still, Davis Farmland is just amazing.Β My kids and I had close-up encounters with baby and grown goats, sheep, cow, water buffalo, a tortoise, ponies, alpaca, chickens and more.Β They love places where they can touch animals. Β Interacting with animals is a great way to teach kids kindness toward all creatures. Β It is also therapeutic to touch and care for them.Β You can find little brushes by some farm animals to encourage brushing which the kids love to do.
Another perk to visiting Davis Farmland is that kids burn off all their energy in the obstacle course, slides, swings and bounce mats. Β At Davis Farmland Mega Maze they are exposed to new skills such as trying to shoot targets. Β Shooting corn cobs from a cannon and aiming at loud metal targets is very exciting.Β The kids loved watching paint splat and hearing the “tings” as they hit their targets!Β The activities here are fabulous to encourage self-esteem, boost confidence and motivate kids to try new things.Β My daughter is quite shy so I commend her when she at least attempts something new.Β The opportunities for fun are endless here.
You will want to keep visiting
In conclusion, visiting Davis Farmland just brought about smiles all day!Β Have you been here with the kids?Β I think we are going to make it at least an annual tradition.Β I’m sure you will feel the same after you and the kids visit too!
